With the performance Street Opera by the Canadian direcotr Robert Lelage following the motives of the Beggars opera by John Gayle the 11th International Festival for Contemporary Performing Arts started in Cankarjev dom Ljubljana (Linhart Hall) on May /th at 8 pm.

The Slovene non-institutional theatre will be represented by the trilogy created by director Ivica Buljan from Mini teater. The aim of presenting the performances: Schneewittchen After Party, Medea Material, and The day of Murders in the Story of Hamlet is to "show the span od a director and of a theatre", said Ursula Cetinski, Art Director of the Festival.
