Opening Night with The Puss in Boots directed by Marek Becka

Marek Becka, one of the most interesting and intriguing directors in the puppetry world, a graduate of the famous theatre academy DAMU in Prague where he now works as a professor, decided to put on stage in MINI TEATER his original, specific and strongly recognisable version of the fairytale about two brothers who inherit after their father. The first one gets the entire farm, the younger though just a cat. The young man is surprised to hear the Puss talk and do so many strange things. This is a fresh and inventive puppet performance, filled with puppet wit and humour so typical for Marek Becka. The actors appearing and animating in the performance are: Jose and Gasper Jarni.

The opening night will take place on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 18:00 in the MINI TEATER hall on Ljubljana Castle.

Performances will follow on Sunday, October 9, and on Saturday, October 22 - both at 17:00 in Mini Teater hall.
