LOCATION: MINI TEATER'S OUTSIDE STAGE ON KRIŽEVNIŠKA STREET
Fairytale heroes of this performance are not set in the magical surroundings of the enchanted forest, poisoned apples, idyllic nature and supernatural kisses. This time the modern fairytale situations are set in the dark mining town, where - with the help of modern accessories - they also point out the ecological crisis and uncontrolled pollution of the environment. But of course, the evil stepmother, magical mirror, mischievous likable elves and the savior will not be missing even in this Snow White! The story of Snow White comes to life as whitty, live and sarcastic comment on the actual state of the world but maintains all the vital fairytale motives that are the red line of this performance.

What can a hero do, if he was born ugly? A bandy-legged, pumpkin-head, twisted figure is hopeless. The mirror laughs at him, people are scared of him, the flowers fade next to him. How can anyone be so ugly? What for? For whom? The hero of this tale gets started to take revenge for being so unpleasant. He fights with sward, board, pike and strike. He wants to find the mystic Seven Headed Fairy, who is supposed to be responsible for all these miseries.
In the world of one of the most famous 20th century Hungarian storyteller, Lázár Ervin, everything is familiar, but twisted in a funny way. The forest is squared, the hero is ugly, the fairy has seven heads. The everyday moments turn out to be parts of a tale, the heroes of the story come across with daily joys and sorrows. The director, Kuthy Ágnes uses different puppet techniques while telling the story. Different sized bunraku puppets represent the moody atmosphere of the tale.

AT 6 P.M.: BUDULINEK, THE BAD BOY
Once upon a time there was a little boy. His name was Budulinek. Sad to say, he had no parents, and so he stayed with his grandpa and grandma. And they had really tough times with him, for he never ever listened to them at all! No wonder he once got into a pretty pickle, as he let in, despite all warnings he must keep the door locked, a perfidious fox. And as the opportunity knocked, the fox snatched Budulinek and hurried back to her den. Who knows what might happen if grandpa and grandma, along with their neighbour gamekeeper, hadn´t set out for a rescue operation!
This is a story about listening. The issue of listening concerns not only the little naughty boy´s behaviour and hypersensitive ears of the vicious fox, but also Budulinek´s grandparents whose hearing is lamentably poor. Why it is so and what this all resulted in will be unfold in a charming performance loaded with witty gags, lively live music and puppet show titbits.
