IN MINI TEATER THE SECOND MINIFEST ENDED
MINIFEST is a new Mini teater’s action that was carried out this year for the second time. Last end of the week, from 28th od November to 1st to December, in Mini teater’s hall in Ljubljana castle and in the residential house in Križevniška Street rich programme for children (Snow White, Thumbelina, The Mishmash Bakery and Little Sleepy Star) and postdrama theatre (Love’s End, Macbeth after Shakespeare, Ma and Al and Game) was performed.
As a part of MINIFEST also the premiere of Hungarian-Croatian-Slovene coproduction Roberto Zucco was performed and also hosting of two independent Croatian theatres, performans after Antonin Artaud of the director Senka Bulić and Victimize #1 of Fraktal Falus Teater from Split, Croatia.
Mini teater hosted directors, producents, proffesors and coaches from Germany, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Cypus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia and Estionia, while at the same time three European networks cofinanced by EU, Puppet Nomad Academy 3, experimental Theatre Academy and PAIR (Performing Arts in Residence) carried out also their regular meetings.
Participants and visitors also participated in round tables on Postdrama theatre, twenty years later, that were moderated by young director Tjaša Črnigoj. On round table themes Beyond act, (Not anymore)dramatic theatre text, The voice of body and political of the postdramatic Italian theatrologists Giorgo Zurcu and Andrea Paccioto, Greek director Dimitris Tsiamis, Svetlana Slapšak, Aldo Milohnić, Tanja Zgonc, directors Ivica Buljan and Robert Waltl, actor Marko Mandić and young dramaturges form AGRFT and Faculty of Filisophy participated. In the light of open discution new theatre praxis were compared to the ones from the sixties and seventies.
The Trieste Il Piccolo ran a large announcement on MINIFEST with the title "Weekend con MINIFEST a Lubiana superstar il regista croato Buljan", while the intent of Mini teater is to carry out the manifestation of theatre performances, discussions, exhibitions and DJ-party every year.
Great visit of the general and professional public in all the MINIFEST events only confirms a great interest in such occasions and events, while sold-out performances in Mini teater prove the quality of work and creating of Mini teater.
