We kindly invite you to join us on Tuesday January 27th 2015 at 8 pm at the commemoration of the Holocaust Remembrance Day in Mini teater - Jewish Cultural Centre Ljubljana, Križevniška Street 1.
The opening of the commemoration with the exhibition Jews in Ljubljana and Holocaust by the author dr. Irena Šumi will be followed by the performance of the Mixed Youth Choir Veter – Ljubljana. Led by the conductor Tereza Podlogar they will perform compositions El Haderech (Nurit Hirsch, arr. Tova Porat) and Lipa (Davorin Jenko).
The honourable speaker will be dr. Janez Premk. Dr. Oto Luthar (SAZU) will present the new publication of the book by Miriam Steiner Aviezer, The Soldier with the Golden Buttons. As a part of the commemoration the traditional reading of the Slovene Holocaust victim names will follow.
