Thumbellina directed by Robert Waltl - the best performance for children in Croatia
This year, the solemn award celebration of the Croatian Association of Drama Artists took place in the great hall og the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. The award for the best puppet performance or the best performance for children in the past year was awarded to the performance THUMBELLINA by H.Ch.Andersen in the production of the City Theatre ŽAR PTICA from Zagreb.The director, actor and pupetteer Robert Waltl from MINI TEATER Ljubljana was awarded this award aready three years ago for directing the performance The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish also produced by the theatre Žar ptica from Zagreb, while last year he was nominated for this award with the performance Tinderbox produced and performed by the Children Theatre from Zagreb.
