The National Sever Award to Veronika Drolc for Gertrude in The Day of Murders in the Story of Hamlet

We are thrilled and happy to announce the Mini Teater spectators and friends that our actress Veronika Drolc was awarded the Slovene national Sever Award 2005 for her role of Gertrude in The Day of Murders in the Story of Hamlet - written by Bernard-Marie Koltes, directed by Ivica Buljan, and produced by Mini teater Ljubljana - and for her role of the mother in the Slaves, written by Ivan Cankar, directed by Samo Strelec, and produced by SNG Maribor.

Every year, Sever Awards are awarded by the Stane Sever Fund  for exceptional achievements in Slovene national theatres, at the Academy or in on off-theatre stages. This year the awarded artists - beside Veronika Drolc - are: Maruša Geymayer Oblak from Slovene Youth Theatre Ljubljana, Eva Kraš and Rok Matek, both students at the Academy for Theatre, Film, Radio and Television, and Lojze Matjašič, actor and director of the amateur theatre in Gorišnica.

Congratulations to all the awarded artists!
