Schneewittchen After Party and Medea Material again at Cankarjev dom
Two of our greatest hits, Schneewittchen After Party and Medea Material, have been put into programme again at Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana. You are kindly invited to see the theatre performance SCHNEEWITTCHEN AFTER PARTY by Robert Walser, on Thursday, January 26 at 22:00 or on Friday, January 27 at 20:00. The role of Schneewittchen is played by Veronika Drolc who in 2003 was awarded the national Borštnik Award for this role and in 2005 the Sever Award for the role of Gertrude in The Day of Murders in the Story of Hamlet. At her side you will see Ana Karić, Niko Goršič, Robert Waltl and the musicians Andraž Polič, Blaž Celarec an Gregor Cvetko.
On Tuesday, February 7 at 18:00, on Wednesday, February 8 at 20:00, on Thursday, February 9 at 20:00, and on Friday, February 10 at 19:00, we recommend the performance MEDEA MATERIAL by Heiner Mueller woth Senka Bulić, ditka Haberl, Marko Mandić, and Ivica Buljan. In September 2005 this performance was presented in the international theatre festival in Havana, Cuba, where according to the critics it was proclaimed as the best performance presented in Cuba in 2005. It was awarded the Premio Villanueva de la Critica teatral cubana.
Both performances are directed by Ivica Buljan, the music was written by Mitja Vrhovnik Smrekar, the costumes were designed by Ana Savić Gecan. Set design for Schneewittchen: Tomo Savić Gecan; for Medea Material: Slaven Tolj.
