8th Festival of Medieval and Renaissance Music and the Medieval Day on Ljubljana Castle

 

Ljubljana, from August 21 to September 9, 2007, international festival

 

Mini teater has its theatre hall on Ljubljana Castle so this year as the eighth year in a row we organise the traditional Festival of Medieval and Renaissance Music and the Medieval Day in co-operation with the Festival Ljubljana and the Association of Old Music Amateurs from Radovljica, supported by the Ljubljana Board of Tourism, the Municipality of Ljubljana, Department of Culture, and the Ministry of Culture of the RS.

 

This year the Festival will take place from August 21 till september 9 in different locations in Ljubljana: in Prešeren Square, in Zvezda Park, and mostly on Ljubljana castle.

We prepared an interesting and variegated programme with the participation of musicians, dancers, swordsmen, actors and other artists from Croatia, Serbia, Czechia, Italy, and Slovenia. The closure and the finale of this year events will take place on 8th and 9th September, 2007.

SUNDAY, August 26, 2007, 20.00, the hall Stanovska dvorana at Ljubljana Castle

Virtuosic instrumental music of the late Renaissance and music created by Vasko Atanasovski performed by the Ensemble MUSICA CUBICULARIS and VASKO ATANASOVSKI,  Slovenia

Entrance fee: 13 €; students and pensioners 7 €.

Tickets one hour before the concert.

TUESDAY, September 4. 2007, 20.00, the hall Stanovska dvorana at Ljubljana Castle
