One of the biggest donations from Europe to the cultural infrastructure in Ljubljana
On Friday, June 6th, 2008, at 16.15, a solemn signing of the Contract on co-financing the construction of the theatre and residence centre Mini teater on Križevniška 1 took place in the City Hall on Mestni trg 1 in Ljubljana. The Contract was signed between the European foundation »Financial Mechanism EEU and Norwegian Financial Mechanism« i.e. its representative, and the National Government Office of European Affairs representing the national contact point, and Mini teater.
The contract was signed by Dr. Rado Genorio from National Government Office of European affairs and Robert Waltl, General Manager of Mini teater. The signing was attended and witnessed also by Mr Zoran Janković, Mayor of the City of Ljubljana (since the Municipality of Ljubljana owns the building on Križevniška 1 and supports the activities of Mini teater), and Her Excellency Ms May Britt Brofoss, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway.
