Dear friends of performing arts,
We – who still care for Slovenian culture and its spirit - are facing a noble and responsible task. In the centre of Ljubljana, on Križevniška 1, neighbouring several prestigious cultural institutions such as The City Museum, The National and University Library and others, will join our forces in spring and start building a new theatre and residence centre MINI TEATER
Since 1999, the domicile of Mini teater has been on Ljubljana Castle. Yet the premises hosting our activities are meant to be changed into a catering industry. Thanks to our successful activity the Ljubljana City Municipality allocates Mini teater a permanent renting of the building on Križevniška 1 in Ljubljana which, however, needs to be demolished and re-built completely into a new theatre house.
Half of the budget has been achieved from the EU international call, yet additional means necessary for the reconstruction are being collected in different ways – mainly through donations and sponsorships from business companies and individuals.
We ask and invite you with great respect to join us and help us in collecting the means necessary to reconstruct the Mini teater premises on Križevniška 1 in Ljubljana. The solemn opening of the new Mini teater theatre is 23 of October in the year 2009.
