Once a dull and grey street at the heart of Ljubljana is once again lively and green. Yet buildings and streets don’t live by themselves, it is the people who bring them to life. And it was the people who came together and created capital’s new cultural quarter – Križevniška!
Rightly so does one of the most beautiful streets in Ljubljana has its very own day. Neighbour’s Day at Križevniška is the day when people living and working at Križevniška Street come together and prepare an unforgettable day for all.
Therefore we invite you to join us on Saturday, June 21st 2014 at Neighbour’s Day at Križevniška and Open Street which will open the 16th Mini Summer Festival.
We will enjoy in each other’s company between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. (for children) and from 9 p.m. (for young and dults) onwards!
Morning programme for children
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Children's programme, creative workshops, a visit to the printers, a stroll around the museum and tour of the exhibition Emona: a City of the Empire, ice cream from Shambala restaurant and Ljubljanske mlekarne, coffee and chatter with Kosovel …
At 11 a.m.: Opening of the Mini Summer festival with puppet performance The Frog King on a stage in front of Mini teater.
Evening programme for adults
At 7 p.m.: Last Love's End of the season with Pia Zemljič and Marko Mandić!
9 p.m. onwards: New evening gathering at Križevniška Street, concert of Koala Voice, DJ programme from Radio Terminal, curry, aperol spritz and port tonic, Streetwalker: ready-made open-air gallery, evening stroll in the company of Roman ghosts …
