We are kindly inviting you to join us on Thursday, January 28 2016 at 6.30 pm on joint commemoration of the Holocaust Memorial Day – ŠOA – We Commemorate 2016 in Mini teater – Jewish Cultural Centre Ljubljana, Križevniška 1/3.
Opening of the exhibition This is not a children’s game / Children during the Holocaust – creativity and play andpresentation of the bookSlovenski pravični med narodi (edited by: Irena Šumi and Oto Luthar).
The exhibition will be opened by His Excellency Shmuel Meirom, the ambassador of the State of Israel.
The keynote speaker will be dr. Marjan Toš.
Theatre performance Otherwise, realized after a story of Chava Nissimov, A girl from there, directed by Elit Veber, Israel.
Commemoration Ceremony
Rabbi Ariel Haddad – prayer »El Male Rahamim«, performance of the Childrenˈs choir of Glasbena Matica Ljubljana, conductor Irma Močnik, pianist Ermin Tkalec, reading the names of Slovenian victims of the Holocaust, Robert Waltl
Event will approximately last until 8.30 pm.
There is no entrance fee, voluntary contributions are welcome.
