OPENING OF THE 18TH MINI SUMMER
MINI TEATER'S INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL
Mini teater does not rest even during the summer, so ahead of us is a new long and hot (not)Mini Summer. This year we will organize the 18th Mini Summer, Mini teater's International Children’s Festival. We will be together from the 23 of June to the 28th of August 2016 with two months will be full of great performances and creative workshops.
The first part of the festival will be traditionally marked by selected Mini teater's performances (George and Three Thieves, The Shit Book: The Poop Book, Little Stories about Love, Goldilocks) followed by Sezam's Creative Workshops and the second part withe selected performances from Russia (Teatrol teater), Great Britain (Garlic Theatre), Montenegro (Gradsko pozorište Podgorica/Lutkarka scena za djecu) and Serbia (Pozorište mladih Novi Sad). AND KRIŽEVNIŠKA NEIGHBOUR'S DAY
Once a dull and grey street at the heart of Ljubljana is once again lively and green. Yet buildings and streets don’t live by themselves, it is the people who bring them to life. And it was the people who came together and created capital’s new cultural quarter – Križevniška! Seven years ago Mini teater moved to Križevniška Street and the energy and enthusiasm of its director Robert Waltl soon spread also to other Križevniška artists and residents.
And one of the most beautiful streets in Ljubljana has its very own day. Križevniška Neighbour’s Day is the day when Mini teater together with restaurant Shambala, Zavodom za kiparstvo and Uredništvom pričesk Robert and other Križevniška residents working and creating here come together and prepare an unforgettable day for all forall - ourselves, for citizens, visitors and also many tourists. We traditionally organize the day in the beginning of summer and also this year it will be organized along the opening of the 18th Mini Summer Festival, Mini teater's International Children’s Festival.
