The first film in the Avi Nesher retrospective, bridges today’s Israel with Germany and Poland’s past and present. Two sisters inspired by music and emotional disquietude are on the search for truth about their family and their roots in Europe. The film is based on the real - life experience of the Israeli composer Ella Shariff - Milch, and dives deep into the heart of memory.
