Visoka pesem / Songs of songs, Eva Neymann, Ukraine, 2015, 75'
The Song of Songs is the most poetic love poem in the bible. The Jewish writer Sholem Aleichem wrote a love story by the same title set in 1905 Ukraine. The film’s images, poetic encounters and its music make it something very special that will endure in the viewer’s mind. Love and acceptance for the future are the closure of the Festival House of Tolerance 2017.
