In 1975, they were young and came from all over Europe to work in the cooperatives of a Portugal in the throes of revolution. They held clinics, provided sociocultural animation, they tended to the sheep and pigs, they harvested olives and wheat. And, at night, they partook in festivities alongside the other members of the co-ops. Today, they return to play-act those memories with the local residents in the crumbling mansions of old: singing, dancing, sharing secrets, seeking intimacy, exchanging kisses and calling for sexual revolution.
