Biography of the program director

Dragan Rubeša (Opatija, 1956). Journalist and film critic of daily newspaper Novi list. He publishes his articles in La Voce del Popolo and Jewish Novi Omanut, published by Cultural society Miroslav Šalom Freiberger. Trustee of Art cinema in Rijeka. Winner of the award „Vladimir Vuković“ for film critique. Director of the film program Subversive Festival in Zagreb. Author of the book Body language: notes on non-Hollywood film (Govor tijela: Bilješke o neholivudskom filmu). This year he will attend Cannes Film Festival for the 25^th time in a row.
