Adapted from the novel by the author of War Horse, Michael Morpurgo, Waiting for Anya follows the story of Jo Lalande, a thirteen-year-old shepherd living in the mountain village of Lescun. A shepherd-boy risks everything to help smuggle Jewish children into Spain from German-occupied France.
