Permanent exhibition is a collaboration between the Jewish Cultural Centre Ljubljana and the CIty Museum of Ljubljana. The curator is Dr Blaž Vurnik, and the visual layout was created by artists Miran Mohar and Vadim Fiškin. The exhibition is based on the research of a number of Slovenian historians and researchers of the Holocaust in Slovenia, in particular Boris Hajdinjak and Robert Waltl, who were involved in the erection of the stumbling blocks in Ljubljana, when the victims of the Holocaust in Ljubljana were symbolically brought to the gates of their family homes, their names were given back to them and a symbolic grave was erected. Intermedia artist Vuk Ćosić's project Undeleted revived their portraits by filming their fates with Slovenian actors Karin Komljanec, Julian Pop Tasić, Barbara Vidović, Aleš Kranjc, Robert Korošec, Luka Bokšan, Nika Korenjak and Timotej Novakovi. In cooperation with Vinko Möderndorfer, Toni Soprano Meneglejte and Robert Waltl, we have prepared their stories for the exhibition Holocaust in Ljubljana, which after 8 years completes our efforts to raise awareness of the Holocaust in Slovenia and its consequences among the Slovenian and international public.
