About the performance

Once there was a boy who loved to draw. However, since the adults didn't understand him, he gave up his passion and love for drawing and became a pilot.

As an adult, he flies over the Sahara, where he has an accident and crashes. He realizes that the situation is serious, as he has only enough water for eight days and there is no sign of life anywhere around him – so he must quickly begin repairing the plane. Suddenly, he hears a voice behind him, turns around, and sees a mysterious and unusual boy – the Little Prince.

They engage in an interesting conversation, and the Little Prince gradually reveals pieces of his life – telling him about his home on a tiny planet, his love for a unique rose, and his travels among the stars, where he meets various characters, such as a king, a merchant, a lighthouse keeper, a fox… As the pilot listens to the most unique and fascinating story, he discovers beauty in simple things, reflects on his own life, and rekindles his inner child.

The charming and entertaining play combines humor with touching moments, captivating both children and adults.

The play is directed by Vladimir Krasnobaev. It features Timotej Novaković, who brings all the characters to life through puppetry and performance. The visual design was created by Karolína Kotrbová, who crafted a magical fairy-tale universe with a simple, clear, yet powerful and refined style. This puppet show, full of imagination and emotions, is sure to delight all young people and those young at heart.
