Opening Night at Mini Teater with The Story of the Mouse Mishkolin

Several generations of Slovene children grew up by reading about the adventures of the mouse Mishkolin written by the first Slovene writer writing for children, Josip Ribičič. The book was a great hit, but also the radio-play version and the television play were a great success remembered my many of us. Now, it is tima for a puppet performance of this popular story. Mini Teater is preparing its third opening night for children in this season. Mishkolin is being put on stage by Robert Waltl as director.
The text was adapted by Rok Vilčnik and Jurij Souček, set and puppets were designed by Mihaela Ciuha and Alenka Koderman, music was written by Uroš Rakovec, costumes were designed by Ana Savić Gecan, light and sound by Nace Hočevar, Tilen Vipotnik and tomaž Grubelnik, language was supervised by Mateja Dermelj.- The actors animating and performing are: Jurij Souček (Great Borštnik Award in 1994 and Victor Award 2005), Karin Komljanec and Vesna Slapar (in alternation), and Emir Jušić Piber and Igor Štamulak (in alternation).

First opening night: November 4, 2005 at 18:00 in the Mini Teater hall on Ljubljana Castle (with invitations and regular tickets); Acting: Jurij Souček, Karin Komljanec, Emir Jušić Piber;

Second opening night: November 5, 2005 at 18:00 in the Mini Teater hall on Ljubljana Castle (with invitations and regular tickets); Acting: Jurij Souček, vesna Slapar, Igor Štamulak.

Regular performances: Sunday, November 6, 2005 at 11:00 and 17:00 (regular ticket sale)

After the opening night of the performance the opening of an exhibition will take place in the Mini Teater hall - Exhibition of books written by Josip Ribičič and illustrations from his books created by famous Slovene painters and illustrators.

The exhibition will be open every Sunday until December 1, 2005.
