Opening dight of Cinderella directed by Robert Waltl at the Zagreb Theatre Trešnja

The city theatre Trešnja in Zagreb presented the opening night of Charles Perrault's Cinderella on Saturday, January 21st, 2006. This popular fairytale of all times has been staged by the Slovene director and MINI TEATER manager Robert Waltl. the text eas translated and adapted by Ivica Buljan (director, dramaturg). Set design ia a creation of the designer group NUMEN, the costumes were designed by ana Savić Gecan who is one of the most successful costume designers in Croatia and Slovenia (The Day of Murders ihe Story of Hamlet, Schneewittchen After Party, medea material, Hansel and Grettel, Mojca and the Animals...) The choreography for this performance was created by Irma Omerzu, while the music was written by TBF (The beet fleet). The role of Cinderella was played by the young guest actress Ivana Roščić, the Narrator was Stjepan Perić. All the other roles were played by the members of the acting ensemble of the Theatre Trešnja: Radovan Ruždjak, Senka Bulić, Aleksandra Naumov, Sanja Hrenar, Richard Simonelli and Višnja Babić. The performance is enriched through the dancing of the Zagreb break-dance group Mystical Skillz and FreeStyle Kings.
